VEPRO convinces with major innovations at the annual expert meeting.

„VEPRO WebStudio“ and „VEPRO Free & Easy Configuration Kit“ convince right away.

IT professionals are constantly faced with recommending solutions in reducing capital expense as it relates to electronic hardware and software and the systems they work on. These concerns are often reflected by finding ways of reducing cost, but at the same time safeguarding patient data and the ability of retrieving this data at any time and at any place. These are the important targets that more and more IT managers and health care professionals demand from modern day Systems.

At this stage, VEPRO provides "browser-based" and "cloud-based" applications which support patient monitoring, including non location-based and mobile telemedicine but also other medical services and emergency procedures. With permanent availability of health information, VEPRO provides outstanding benefits for the patient, physician and medical staff.

Compiling your own Toolbox

The new "VEPRO WebStudio" now opens up new and uncomplicated possibilities for the exchange of information between all conceivable healthcare providers; completely dependent on non location and at minimal costs, as the necessary infrastructure, i.e. PC, Tablet or Smartphone are usually available.

The VEPRO solutions "EMR-Manager (PACS)" and "VEPRO-VIS" are now available via an Internet browser and as a cloud solution in excellent quality and without functional shortcomings. With "Information at your Fingertips" it is possible for far-off-acting healthcare providers to access this data without further cost.

The tool kits are an important part of our response to the different wishes and incentives of our customers according to highly individual design of the available control elements in the EMR Manager or VIS and personalized toolboxes.

With the new "VEPRO Free & Easy Configuration Kit", it is possible to generate functional or user-specific work platforms for example, only the controls that match the displayed data are displayed, and are just needed in the predefined order.

Individualization down to the smallest detail

Summary 1st eHealth workshop
in Trinidad and Tobago

....another key topic was "State of the Art" PACS in combination with a seamless workflow management system.

The first eHealth workshop in Trinidad and Tobago took place on 30 September 2015. Traditionally, this workshop is aimed to directors, physicians and IT managers from all over the Caribbean islands. The workshop was hosted at the Marriott Hotel in Port of Spain. The event was a big success and was fully booked.

Mr Duke represents the Scarborough General Hospital

Theme of the workshop was "eHealth Vision for Health Care". Among the topics Wolfgang Kersten (Figure 1), Member of the Board of VEPRO AG Germany, presented the medical cloud solution, telemedicine and teleradiology and the electronic medical record.

An additional guest was Nigel A. Duke (Figure 2), IT Manager at Regional Health Authority (TRHA). Mr. Duke gave a presentation on the successful eHealth implementation consisting of PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System), workflow management system and medical cloud solution for telemedicine and teleradiology from the Scarborough General Hospital, Tobago. Another key topic was "State of the Art" PACS in combination with a seamless workflow management system presented by Cem Kazancioglu (Figure 3), an international Consultant for VEPRO IT solutions. He stressed the benefits of modalities integration (Enterprise solution) and the paperless workflow concept.

There were lots of opportunities for stimulating discussions and conversations before and during the workshop. Another highlight which could be shown and demonstrated in a test environment was the "VHP cloud solution" with pictures, sequences, reports, documentations and communications. Following the event all participants got the presentations in digital format. If you interested we will gladly send you this presentation as well.

At this point we want to say thank to you all our guests, participants and speakers for the very successful and fruitful eHealth workshop 2015. We are looking forward to the next workshop in the coming year. If you have any suggestions or ideas for future workshop, please feel free to contact us.
